freakincage_com Regular Location: north brisbane Registered: September 2003	Re: Installing tacho to ae92 Thu, 27 November 2003 02:32 ok dud there should be 4 wires...white, red, black and green?? correct?? white goes to your dash lighting so wen ur dash lights come on so does your tacho light...all u have to do if take ur dash consol out and find the wires that go to the light on the dash...then use wire connectors(buy them from mitre 10...its like a little box that u put the 2 wires in and use plires 2 clamp them 2gether..) red goes to your ignition switch ...use the wire conector again... black goes to your car body somewhere there is a good earth... and green goes to the ignition coil....and if u have electronic ignition such as GM, HEI, or MSD connect the wire to the tach/o terminal... its pritty basic but kinda har to explain hope this helps..?
