Well you've gotta make sure you bury them real deep, cos they can cause a stink otherwise, and also make sure you don't bury them in a flooding water table, cos they have been known to float to the surface, ..., huh, ..., oh car bodies, right I'm with you now!
Due to the demand for scrap metal in the world at the moment, most scrap yards will take these for free, or if they can get weight out of them, give you a small amount for them. I always use a body removal as a good excuse for a yard cleanup, so all the ferrous material goes inside the car, and I walk away with $20 and a clean back yard!!!
