DEFINATELY, don't ask the guy if he has a daughter of legal carnal age, and when he says no regardless, come back with "Well we'll just keep that between the two of us!"
Seriously, I'd tame down the "I know modified cars backwards" routine to a more appropriate "I have a vast knowledge of relavent subject matter" - how many times have you felt like the loner in the spare parts department of a dealership when you say the part you're after is for a modified car, or to be modified (every fucken time I ask for 3TGTE parts!!!).
