yes run a bumpstop, plenty of susp places sell them, hell you can get a combined dust protectors and bumpstops. Try TSR, GSA and so forth.
as for the top bolt, top of the shock should have a notch in it, depending on how your coilovers are desinged you will have a plate going over this... put vicegrips on thios and do the top bolt up.
alterntivly, put it all in the car and put the weight of the car opn, then get a breaker bar and hammer and tap thw bar and do the bolts up.
rattle gun makes it a bitch to get off
