Thu, 01 August 2002 08:34 a) a good i dea to start it every week. but make sure you warm it properly... wait till the barrel is too hot to touch... then give it a good rev... same goes for anytime you go for a ride... don't start it and rev the crap out of it. start and continuously blip the throttle till the barrell is too hot to touch... then thrash away! b) yes the fuel will go off... and more importantly, the oil will separate from the fuel aswell... so jus give the bike a really good shake before you start it to mix the oil up in the fuel again. c) nah don't bother bout spares kit. normally with a spares kit, you get a spark plug socket, head and base gasket, maybe a baffle... and with some brands a piston and ring. oh and some jets.... so when i say don't bother, i say that coz it's unlikely that he'll still have it all but if he does and whoever you bought it off is gonna track it down for you then yeah get it. d) order a manual from kawasaki e) well obviously you'll have to buy the parts... your labour is free... there's comes at a cost of prolly 65 bucks a hour... mine ... 35 bucks. it's probably not that they don't care... jus that they'd prefer you to take your bike in and pay them to do it... after all it is a business they're trying to run bexi [Report message to a moderator]
