actually ABS is only good because you can never lock up your wheels and you always can steer even if the brake pedals are jammed to the floor, but doesn't always stop better, of coz a lot of people know locking the brakes actually stops faster in the gravel, ABS won't let you do that, and also the car stops faster if you can hold the brakes just before the ABS engages, even in the wet, that would mean you can always stop at the same distance with or without ABS, as long as you don't stuff up...
only problem with AWS is the system aren't too robust and most will misalign after hitting a kerb which more than 50% of drivers do...
AWD is great as long as the system is good, but there's lost of power and high cost of maintainence...
so it's now very obvious that everything in this world is a compromise...  Or is it just me? I always like to bring out the goods as well as the bads...
with some sequential (I'm not sure if it's all, my knowledge is never broad enough) there's a manual gearbox, but there's no clutch pedal (but there's still a clutch, just no pedal), you flip the gear up, the electics disengage the clutch, put it into the next gear and release the clutch, but if you flip the gear down, the system will automatically DOUBLE CLUTCH! HOW'S THAT!! It will put itself to neutral, adjust the engine revs to PERFECTLY RIGHT REVS, and engage the clutch, put it back into gear, and your job is to floor the pedal while trying not to lose your tail (but usually you can't coz the traction control is on, damn...) Now you must understand double clutch to know how amazing that is! (BMW & F1s have these)
while some of them still have the manual gear knob, but no clutch pedal (still have electric clutch), you back off the gas, and move the gear out, it will engage the clutch, push it back into gear, the clutch disengage, this is called I think "Manual with Auto Clutch", (I think this idea is from Merc)
