Phil,
Ryan and I actually exchange emails on a very irregular occasion. His internals are far from stock with Forged pistons and Custom Rods.
Head is Stock 2TG tho and yeilded considerable improvement. Keep in mind stock 2TG cams and 3TGTE cams are very different !
Rumour has it that the 2TG head flow is better due to the shape of the compustion chamber. The 3TGTE has 2 spark plugs in there as oppossed to one which causes twice the interferance to the airflow. This is just urban info I have seen no real proof for this.
Mind you I have heard the statement re the 2TG head being better from several people who's oppinions I respect.
If for some reason I was building a Turbo T series I'd be using the 2TG head !
Would love to see a real life comparrison of STOCK heads !
