So why didn't you give that info in the first place?!? As a general interest request, do you seriously think people either know how to or can be bothered calculating a CR for a standard stroke engine (lets face it - most of us have them, if we were really playing with altered rod lengths, head cc, gasket thickness, what do you think the chances of selling second hand pistons are (been there, done that - would have been quicker and easier to order new pistons for the job at hand)?). I too will admit to not being bothered to work the CR out from your initial info, however if you feel these pistons can't be used in a standard style engine, don't you think morally and also for ease of reply to request, you should make mention of the fact. I understand in these days of buyer beware, the final onus is on the purchaser, but do you really expect to sell $2500 worth of gear without a bit of salesmanship. You obviously bought the pistons with some range of CR in mind, would it hurt you to give a guide? I made mention earlier in the month that we all read each others posts, as I will happily admit to reading your progression from: The car's for sale, to The car didn't sell so I'm going give it mass horsepower, to The parts are for sale, to The car's for sale again. need money to finish the Porsche off, to The parts are for sale again, blah blah blah ... Good luck with the sale (everybody seems to say that, so I thought it appropriate too), I'll go and stand in the corner with the other dunces, ..., and keep my money in my pocket!
