i thought that the ECU for auto boxes ran a safer (richer) mix if the gearbox didn't respond with a speed signal?
or does the ECU only use the speed sensor for the speed limiter? I think the gearbox ECU needs a speed signal to know when to engage the lockup (e.g. no point trying to engage overdrive and/or economy modes if you're doing 20kmh in 1st).
