You need a high-pressure EFI pump for your high-pressure EFI fuel system. The pump you use to fill the surge tank (if you have one) isn't really important since it's running at close to zero load. It still needs to be able to flow enough volume to keep up with your engine, but nearly any automotive fuel pump should be able to do that.
