If you had a twincam to start with then yeh its pretty much bolt it in wire it up and away you go but u got the carby like me so you'll need a twin cam fuel tank and fuel lines roughly 150-200 at least in SA where they are DAMN rare. Also you would want to replace those shitty drums brakes on the rear easy enuff conversion to all round GZE brakes from a ae92 GZE for aorund 450 if you do the work yourself...not to hard...there is a guy on here who has done it to a ae82 rolla...Craig aka Haggis....Also you might wanna swap the front struts with twin cam struts as well specially if your goin to be driving it a bit hard
Those prices sound about right to.
as for insurance with the 4ag, my insurance company SGIC said they had no problem with it, im 18 also, as long as it was engineered to go thru Regency...mind you i gave them a bit of a i dont know anything act..ie uhh my engine is on the way out im thinking about replacing it with the fuel injected model that came out arund the same time umm is that ok?? will it cost me any more?? they were just like nah its fine...the gze tho is a bit more of a problem forced induction for an 18yr old pretty much no major company will want to touch you...prolly try those small specialist companys but expect probably 1000-1500 fully comp... DONT go 3rd party wow tha turned into an essay... hope there is some useful info in there for ya
Cheers,
