So you want to remove the power steering, but you don't want the steering to be heavy. Can anyone see the contradiction here?
Sorry but you can't have it both ways. The Celicas get away with having manual steering because they have different front end geometry (less caster for one thing), narrower tyres, and much less weight up front. Supras really need power assistance, especially if you're doing stuff like autocross which involves lots of rapid wheel-turning at low speeds. Keep the P/S I say, and if the rack starts leaking rebuild it!
FWIW I have a Celica rack sitting next to a Supra rack in my garage and I can confirm they are not interchangeable. So unless a manual-steer Supra existed somewhere (which I doubt), there aren't any bolt-in manual steer options for you.
