Jeez, what is it with AE86 exhausts at the moment, everone's got a thread on it?!!!
Personally I feel your intended system will be a waste of mone (ie, will cost twice as much). I think it will be to big in pipe size to effectively muffle the 1600cc, resulting in all the extra resonators.
As I've mentioned in other threads, a 2" system with good single muffler at the rear is all you need both for performance and sound. This is the setup I copied when making my system (yes, that I still now want to sell!). I definately recommend going over the diff, as I have done, it protects the pipework, making it last longer.
I think extractors for a 4AC would be money well wasted, instead look around for a 3A interference style exhaust manifold - these are different to the 4A four into one manifolds and flow better. This is also the style of manifold I used on my 4AC, and was happy both with the power and noise of the exhaust. On a side note, the factory 4AGE cast exhaust manifold are also interference style design, so look to replicate that, as they work very effectively.
Once you do upgrade your motor, the system is still good enough for any NA 4AGE, you'll just need to modify the front of the pipe to pick up on the LHS of the car compared to the RHS for your current engine, making it a cost effective setup to use.
