My injected car used to take a couple of seconds to start, was never hapyy with it. Pulled the injectors to be cleaned, and found that they all leaked fuel, resulting in low pressure behind them. The engine had to crank (to activate the fuel pump), which then built the pressure up behind them, which once done allowed the car to start effectively. Once they were ultrasonically cleaned, they never leaked, and my car now starts on first crank everytime.
