Before I got the injectors replaced I thought that a "Carbon Clean" might help the bad starting on my 7M-GE because a few mechanics recommended it... I think what they do is run some kind of carbon dissolving fluid through the whole sytem. It sounded like they actually run the car on the stuff like it runs on petrol. They connect it up to the fuel pickup and run it for about 45min.

Needless to say, it didn't help me... but the mechanics assured me it was worth treating your engine to every once in a while.
