OK - I think to *point* got lost.
I NEED TO UPGRADE WHEELBASE AND BRAKES TO SOMETHING I CAN FIT REAL WHEELS TO
This BP/offset stock is Kimpossible to get rims for, and 14x7 is nice, flat, good sidewal ratio, and IMPOSSIBLE TO BUY REAL TIRES FOR OVER HERE>

the upgradde to a modern-er hub/rotor insited the overall upgrade idea, and I'm looking fro something I can fit pre-built adjustables into etc. Options are ... ZERO afaik for bolt-in, so the concept of welding a different end with BJ onto the lower strut came up adn I'm going from there....
I've spent 4 years managing to *not* hack up the '47... the most hacked it should get is to install a good safety cage and maybe change the spring perches in the rear for racing spring ones (for better selection)
BTW - I *can't* to this to any other Celica... I don't OWN any other Celicas.
Matter of fack; since I got robbed I don't seem to own much of anything at all. And I'm low-paid so I'm working on a make-it-yourself budjet all the time anyway.
