Theres no difference between any of the M series oil pumps. The difference in pressure that some people start quoting as meaningful of a differnece in pump type, mainly between 7m-ge and 7m-gte, is due to the fact that the 7m-gte has a turbo, and oil squiters to supply oil to, with the same sump capacity.
An American on supraforums recently dismantled a 5m-ge oil pump and a 7m-gte oil pump and found the only difference is where it picks the oil from, internals are exactly the same. Will find the link to pictures and post
