bought the bearings today, had to use some shifty methods,
yesterday i called repco, and asked the guy for a price, he said 35 bucks a side, then i said "i'll probably have to pick them up tomorrow, just out of interest, what is the part number?" he told me, and i then called up my local bearing shop, who said they had them in, so i picked the bearings, cones, seals etc today for 22 bucks a side, who says repco isn't useful??
there was a "hot chick" there too, i wonder how the mechanic i went to could justivy a 4X price hike, maybeye he thought i wanted gold plated bearings.
the bearing shop dude also said not to use too much grease, to pack the bearings, then fill the hub cavity about 30 percent full,
thanks for all your help, no doubt ill be back here when i have fuxored it all up, but hopefully not.
