gear ratios and speed

hey i have a ta22 and i want to get a shorter gear ratio (smaller top speed) at the moment i get 100k hour in second and 140 in third, just wondering if there is any different diff ratios for a ta22 i have heard there is a 3.9 and a 4.1 how do i tell which one i have and which one will have the better acceleration, 4.1 isnt .
