who knows if this is a smart option.
i was thinking about possible diff swaps for early RWD toyota's. i was thinking RX7 diff for a few reasons. it is LSD, Disc Brake, same stud pattern. i know it's a watts link, but with the watts mount on the front of the diff, it would not be difficult to leave it unused and just use the panhard rod setup on the rear when the mounts are swapped over. another very nice option is the Guru Racing Torsen diff centres that can be bolted in and at a cost of around $1000 for a torsen centre, sounds like a nice option!!! that and the diff itself can be had for very cheap... like $400 disc to disc!!!
now the only thing that need to be seriously considered is the width of the diff itself, and would it need to be shortened to fit say a TA22??? has anyone ever looked into this??
