i would love to do the same conversion to my SV21, but being a student and poor and all that makes it hard... so unless some mr2 owner thinks their car is TOO powerful and would like to swap (not likely  )
another option is turbocharging the current 3sfe, but since it was never built to withstand thrashing, let alone a turbo, i thinks this is out of the question.
here in perth i have no trouble keeping up with v6 bombadores of the same age, usually cause their a P plater and dont know how to drive fast AND sensable (so many commadores, soooo many trees...)
