I found this info somewhere,
- 18RG dohc, 9.7:1 compression ratio, Toyota cylinder head, no smog hardware and developed 140hp. Very rare and desirable.
- 18RGR dohc 9.2:1 compression, Toyota head, air injection and EGR. Rated at 130hp.
- 18RGRU dohc Yamaha head, 9.2:1 compression, air injection and other smog gear. 125hp
- 18RGU dohc Yamaha head, 9.2:1 comp, non rebuildable carburetors, smog hardware and a throwaway electronic ignition. This 120hp engine appears to be the most frequently encountered.
- 18RGEU dohc Yamaha head, 8.7:1 comp, smog gear, and electronic fuel injection. Said to make 120hp.
Going by this i would say mine is the 18RGRU, theres just bolts filling in the holes under the exhaust ports where the air injection once was, its a yamaha head, original 18rg didnt have a yamaha head.
