Thu, 25 December 2003 05:18 thanks for all your help guys.. i suspect that youre right allencr-i ran a compression test yesterday and every single cylinder is exactly on 155. so i guess we can rule the rings out. i checked the plugs again and there wasnt any oil on em. so i guess it mustve leaked past the plugs into the cylinders as i was taking them out. after flushing the plug gallery with white spirit and removing all the oily residue i'll drive it for a bit and then pull the plugs again and have a gander. but guys--HAS ANYONE GOT ABSOLUTELY ANY IDEA AS TO WHAT CAN BE CAUSING THE HESITATION?? p.s. nimrod, you say you saw a puff of smoke come outa the exhaust? are you SURE it was blue and not black? cos im running mega rich, so it was probably just fuel? thanks for all your advice fellas, keep it coming please! and merry christmas!
