Your ems could only effect boost when you are using a solonid for a high and std setting. The std setting would not be effected but the high setting can be adjusted in 500rpm increments so you can set it to come on to like e.g 20psi at 5000rpm and 6psi before that, so i dun think it is the ems causing it.
