My brother has a 79 sr5 with a holden 308 that is off it's head.It's a 2wd and had to be engineered here in NSW.The motor is out of it at the moment due to painting.The one thing he has had trouble with is g/boxes but you come to expect that from a well worked 308 and only a standard celica 5 speed.It's had a couple of 18rg's in it and a 253 aswell as this 308 that keeps getting more and more wild but the weight over the front is a turn off,something lighter over the front would be the better way to go I think
