some facts on the RA60 and SA63 for ya:
Engine:
RA60: 21R-C, 2 litre 4 cylinder, puts out 67 kw at the fly, 90 hp.
SA63: 2S-C, 2 litre 4 cylinder, puts ot 73 kw at the fly.
Kerb Weight: around 1200 i think. i can check exactly if you really care...
other than that, same as the RA65. the RA60 is live axle as opposed to IRS, and both have single spinning diffs.
but yeah, power steering, air con, and comfy too. loook great, and lots of potential to do up. someone has stuck a 1JZ-GTE (2.5 litre 6 cylinder, twin turbo) in one, and i would imagine it would fly.... Draven (on this forum) has one is his celica-supra, and it flogs nearly everything... so coupled with about 100kgs less, the celica would fly too...
Nark (also on this forum) has a 1G-GTE 2 litre 6 cylinder twin turbo in his RA60. This was the conversion i was going to do in my RA60, but i felt the MA61 (1982-1985 Supra) had more potential, better but similar looks... etc...
But anyway narks ride is supposed to fly... so maybe talk to him, if you are interested in getting this series celica and putting a new beefy motor in it.
there are a couple for sale on these forums.... if you are in victora:
