I took the cheap'n'cheerful route for my RA23.
- Fulcrum springs (lowered approx 2")
- Pedders shocks
- all bushes replaced with urethane.
The result is a little too harsh for a daily driver, but for a weekend fun car (which is what mine is meant to be) it's perfectly acceptable. Handling is awesome as long as the road surface isn't too rough (damn live axle), and turn-in is brilliant. I have 205 tyres on 14x7 rims so grip is actually quite incredible even though I have cheapie tyres fitted. My only gripe is the vague steering, but that's something you just have to live with unless you want to go to the trouble of a rack and pinion conversion.
