Since Power steering is a must for me i think i will head over to nissan or possibly mitsubishi for a newer car with the specs i am after!

i used to be like you, share the same opinion that power steering was a must, but i have found, whilst my car i harder to steer in carparks and such, it is better to be without powersteering. Infact, at greater speeds, such as you would find on the racetrack or highway, the steering input has far greater accuracy without the use of assisted steering. Now, i understand you may be concerned if you can actually physically drive a car with no power steering, due to your strength or size. i am not a large, or even medium build person, but i can still drive with little effort. In the frst week my back and arms were sore, but now they are fine.

hat im trying to say is, you dont need to have powersteering to drive well, infact, most racing cars do not have power assist steering for the reasons i mention above.

take it as you may, but if you willing to do a little work and make a few "comfort" sacrifices, i believe you may get what you are asking for with an ae86.

It's not that i am small or weak or anything like that i just figured as technology progresses so should i( a little keep up with the small creature comforts) my first car was a KE10 Rolla so i know what it is like to drive without power steering! nice but can be annoying at times.....
I was just considering a upgrade in the bare comforts provided by todays technology!?
Thanks for everyones change in assistance!
I have not seen the trueno/sprinter in melbourne? links/pics?
I am in sydney so if it's worth going up to melbourne to check out then definately!
