sand away.
paint requiring it be cured by heat requires a lot more then under hood temps or sitting in the sun at the equator.
i think the stuff on the can about curing is only about speeding up its drying process and is mostly advertising bs to lead you to believe that the paint is some how "baked" on and a better product then it really is.
