I guess I just have a rather ... varied ... resume. lol.
It is "common knowledge" in the group of friends that I run with - that tubing bends are costly in terms of airflow.

IIRC the Air conditioning "standard" is that a segmented 90* in your 5" piping in your house costs FIVE FEET of running length!

Its close to that anyway

Madrel bends are your friend, keep things shallow and pointed where you want, nevermind the coolness, and think like you are the air flowing through there!

If *you* hadda go down a hallway on a cart, and everytime you met a bend in the hall you rubbed the wall to make the turn, how much farther could you coast with little rubs from light bends, compared to bouncing off abrupt bends?
