thats a load of crap...they need to be built with a box designed for that speaker, i.e you need that speaker's
specifications.
Also its something like - you dont put a speaker designed for a sealed box in a bass reflex box!
A specific box for their power. No such thing. Theres gotta be nothing special about it apart from its strenght. I've imported a 1500wRMS, 7400w peak 12" speaker from italy, ive built it to a design i did around that speakers specs, and ive also made it out of 25mm plywood - braced. If it doesnt sound good and stay together theres something seriously wrong.
Dont pay $500 for someone to build your box. Download the speakers specs and get a mate/ yourself to do it.
