Ridgecrest do excellent work....Titanium is good in a high revving drag motor, but for street work you will be replacing them every couple of years...and at around 4k a set it gets costly....Titanium is very light and strong but it doesnt have a long fatigue resistance.....eventually the constant torsional loads end up wearing it out....where as forged steel will almost last for ever....aluminium is inbetween titanium and steel for rods....it will fatigue after some time also... You don't need rods to run forged pistons.....$1K for a set is dead cheap, they are forged hypereutectic alloy afaik....so high in silicon content and very very light and strong, but normally require a slight bore of the cylinders....standard rods should hold out Corvid
