Absolutely Michael, but I was just joking about the titanium rods! Grin
And, correct, you don't need new rods to run forgies. However, people who get a custom forged piston sometimes decide to change the comp height of the piston and run a longer rod to help increase the upper rev limit of their engine, ie improve conrod:stroke ratio. Probably totally unrequired on a supercharged 4 cylinder. Also incredibly exensive!
