yes that information above has been taken from one of my 10000 responses regarding identifying 18R-G variants.
Regarding the AC brackets - yes they are completely different to an 18r-c item. The AC compressor is also completely different. I do have a spare ac bracket for an 18rg at home, but i wonr be back in the country until march.....
