first experience with drifting Mon, 05 January 2004 02:48 Go to previous message
yesterday, a group of mates had hired out the skidpan for the day to practise driving and drifting. It was a great day with one car over heating (driver fault) and no other broken bits.

After watching decent drivers trying to drift it really makes you appreciate some of the videos i have seen. (HPI etc.) I didn't have a go of driving just sat in the passenger seat but it definitely is fun. I don't think it is for me though. Just seems to put too much stress on the car which a lot of revs and slow speeds not to mention the driveline.

I will stick to drag racing for the time being and might even get a drift/circuit sprint car later on.

Anyway, just sharing my experiences Smile

also, have pics if anybody wants to see them?
