Mon, 05 January 2004 05:49 u can buy similar things from japan for 400 or 500 bucks i think theyre called techtoms they have diff models one for toyota nissans etc i have a snapon scanner and that does toyotas the hard thing is u need different moduels in the scanner for different toyotas my scanner works on some 20vs and 4ages and most aussie cars but when most my work is on imports its no use to me sometimes toyota all use a similar diag plug unless u get to the obd2 plugs in later lexus cars and similar vehicles but my scanner will only tell u the basics its just as easy to use a multimeter and checking for codes [Report message to a moderator]
