power to weight ratio is the key on winning the race, why do so many bikes flog cars? they only weigh 170kg or so and have 100kw at the wheels.Handleing is a major factor too.There are too many straight liners in the world.Crossed up action looks good but it is proven slower compared to hitting the centerof the apex turn's.How fast can you go through the turns is limited to your ability and your cars ability suspension/braking set up , the turn itself and the road grip.
