How much room is left in a MX83 after you stuff it full of 1UZ?
ie how hard do you think it would be to fit a small set of internal wastegate turbos onto the 1UZ in an MX83. I think I remember reading that you needed to modify one of the stock headers to clear the steering if you were running the 1U N/A, but would this be a problem if the turbo's were mounted towards the front of the car?

Mate, if you can squeeze a pair of turbos into an MX83's engine bay after a 1UZ is crammed into it, I'd suggest that you are doing VERY well , particularly if you want to retain power steering, AC etc...Having said that, nothing's impossible *points - somewhat enviously - to Jamie's TT 1UZ Celica *, so technically it COULD be done, but you'd need good engineering skills (which I don't have) or lots of money (which, regrettably, I also don't have).
Given that my web-site is currently off-line, I can't offer pictures of the engine bay of my car at present (Or at least none better than my avatar). However, if you get onto one of the Toymodders who has seen the car, they can give you an idea of how "full" the engine bay looks...
