3S-GE qs (again!)

Well, I'm trying to figure something out here, and I'm not completely sure. I need to know what gen 3S-GEs were put in what cars....I've got a slight picture, but I need some clarification.
The first gen 3S-GE was in the ST162 Celica (1986->1989).
They put the 3S-GTE into the ST165 Celica GT-4.
Then what happens from there? They didn't put 3S-GEs in the ST182 or ST18x, they put in the 5S-FE, but Toyota put 3S-GTEs in the ST185 (obviously). They also put 3S-GEs in the SW-20 and the 3S-GTE in the MR-2 GT of that time. Are these the Gen II 3S-GEs/GTEs?
Where would a "Gen III" 3S-GE fit in, because they didn't put a 3S-GE in the ST202 etc etc, but again, resorted to the 3S-GTE in the ST205.
I'm not sure, but did Japan have 3S-GE FWD Celicas in the form of a Celica GT (???) for the newer Celicas (1990/1994), but those didn't see the light of day down here?
