This is something I had thought about before too for when I can eventually afford an MX83. Best thing would be to rip out the stock unit and actually take a look at the back of it, see what plugs are there, and also look under seats etc. to see if there is an amp hiding there somewhere. That said sometimes it is possible to add pre-outs to a factory head unit.
