You shouldne have any problems with changing the head gasket. I did mine in about 4 hours by myself.

I left the inlet and exhaust manifold on the head, saving the need for replacing 2 gaskets. Makes it all a bit heavy to lift tho.

Like mrshin said, if you can, check the head and block for warping. Also look to see if there is any pitting on the edge of the cylinders or water jacket. They are quite close in a few places!

You will need to remove the cam and rockers to get to a couple of the head bolts, so make sure you check the timing marks!
