Best thing to do is to use a completely different browser - Opera! I've been using Opera for nearly two years now and wouldn't consider going back to Netscape, let alone IE. Opera has an option of 'no pop-ups' in it and it can easily be disabled with the F12 key. It's also got the very handy 'mouse gestures' so you don't have to click on anything to go forwards or backwards through various pages, just make a sweeping gesture and it's all done for you. It's also noticeably faster than Netscape, and considerably faster than IE. It also won't bring down the entire computer like IE often does, and when on the odd occasiona it does fall over, it'll pick up right where it left off again. [Report message to a moderator]
