yr best way out of it is to get a matchin electrical set

get an ecu with matchin coils and dizzy

tryin to get bits from here and there u might get wrong parts
and when u come to diagnosis problems u just run round in circles

there are

map ecu 4agze both have twin coil setup
there are 2 types of map ecus one is very hard to find

there is an air flow ecu form a corolla

and an airflow ecu from an mr2

so u need all the matching parts to suit the ecu

i know that some ignitors are not interchangable in toyotas

but u can use a 7mgte ignitor on a twin coil 4agze

i know u say u cant afford an aftermarket ecu
but doin it this way

make sure u get the right parts
otherwise it might cost more in the long run

even a 2nd hand microtech sells for 500 or less

maybe savin for 2 more months and gettin an ecu will save you headaches

just from past experience with conversions
gettin bits from 5 different places always stuffs things round
