I respect all your opinions, but I'm looking for a Trueno. I like its character, its small 'classic' status, and wont depreciate like most other imports will. From what ive seen, theyre also very rare in australia. IMO With a mocked up aus spec rolla, I wouldent be any better than the 100's of hardcores that drive Type-R stickered pov pack civics on my local roads. I'd MUCH rather drive a standard levin front AE86 than a cut up levin that is trying to look like a trueno. Ive looked on jap car yard websites, and ive found Truenos go from 350,000 yen (approx $4000 aud), all the way to 1.7 million (20k+ aud.. more than GTR's) for a completley original GT-Apex in panda colours. plain white is fine, the panda examples arenet worth the extra premium i'll have to pay, combined with the fact that you look like you worship intial d. how much would it cost to bring one in and get it on the roads? would four grand cover it seeing as it comes under the 15yr rule? ae86drift - very nice car mate. basically what i'm looking for. Are you able to break down the costs of bringing it in for me? did you import it modified or modify it yourself? Thanks again [Report message to a moderator]
