Clean your throttle body thoroughly with some sort of carby cleaner and install a clean airfilter.
Clean your pcv while your at it.

Had the same problem with my 4age, plus my v6 magna was doing the same thing, clean throttle and install new air filter and all is good know. Getting heaps better power delivery and fuel consumption has improved by 80kms per tank.
