In fairness, it took almost two hours to find it.

The ECU earth wire which leads to the inlet manifold was just sitting there, it worked OK at idle (just missing occasionally), but, when you revved the motor the wire lifted off.

The reason takai thought it was only running on 2 or three cylinders was there was no oxygen sensor fitted to his extractors and he had a leak from 2 cylinders because of it, it definately sounded like a miss.
