tanman Forums Junkie Location: Newcastle Registered: May 2002	Re: 3TGTE ignition leads Thu, 08 August 2002 11:07 Well I rang the guys at Thundercords on Wednesday morning and had a replacement lead by Thursday arvo. The guys there are friendly and extremely helpfull. It only cost my $20 plus postage. So I cleaned and gapped the plugs put the leads on and fired up the 22. It ran noticeably better but still had a chunky exhaust note. Took it for a quick drive to see if it would clear, still no joy. I then began to fault find the ignition system and found that one of my coils has failed (the other one went about 5 months ago). So tommorow I will buy a new coil and it should be troublefree motoring again. [Report message to a moderator]
