yeah you can use a converter but been there done that take my advice and dont
id leave the system alone its quite cool but if you like you can check my set up out heaps of subs, amps x 4 mids ,midbase's heaps of tweeters single din head deck the works
they are actually a great car for acustics if you got questions though im all ears
a single din unit is ok and the controls for the original deck will fade in to the background and you wont notice they are there after a while
