Sat, 10 January 2004 12:48 red book says anywhere from 1k to 2.6k quoted from redbook "national average price - private sale* $1,200 - $2,600" id pay 1.5k-1.8k for one with straight body minimal rust and some rego. they are getting old and some still run on leaded. not many examples of them being treated well left. cheap cars to buy and drive around. fun if there all have been serviced and have the parts replaced etc. but id say 1.5k heaps in the post for that price with wheels, alarm and tints. ive payed 3K for my last sprinter. 4AG little surface rust spots, aircon, alarm. A sprinter with a straight body, good paint twin cam, positive drive train and rego would sell right for around the 4-5k mark anything else is just over priced where people want to make money for their purchases or try to increase the value becuase its a sprinter.
