Mon, 12 January 2004 10:30 Hey All, I have ordered a huge part from America from a Toyota dealership. To cut the story short, I had the part sent to Australia via United States Postal Service (Express) and they couldn't deliver it to the house as they needed to verify the item... They sent it to Sydney to get it opened to see what was inside the package... Now for me to get the item back from the USPS I am now requiring to pay for GST... The thing is though, I paid for the item in America Using US Dollars and now I have to pay GST in Australia to get it to my door step Is this legal? Cheers. [Report message to a moderator]
